You can add favorite paths to quickly access Object Storage Service (OSS) resources, including buckets or directories. When you view historical paths, you can identify which OSS resources that belong to the current Alibaba Cloud account are frequently accessed.
Favorite Paths
Log on to the OSS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click the plus sign (+) on the right of Favorite Paths.
In the Add Favorite Paths panel, configure the parameters. The following table describes the parameters.
Parameter
Description
Adding Method
Add from my buckets: Add a created bucket that belongs to the current Alibaba Cloud account to the favorite path.
Add from other authorized buckets: Add an authorized bucket that belongs to the current Alibaba Cloud account to the favorite path.
Region
Specify the region in which the destination bucket is located.
Bucket
Specify the name of the bucket.
File Path
Specify the path of the objects that you are authorized to access. This parameter is available only when you set Adding Method to Add from other authorized buckets.
For example, if you are authorized to access only objects or subdirectories in the examplefolder directory of a bucket named examplebucket, enter oss://examplebucket/examplefolder/.
Pay-by-requester
This parameter is available only when you set Adding Method to Add from other authorized buckets. If pay-by-requester is enabled for the bucket that you are authorized to access, and you are not the owner of the bucket, select I understand and agree. Otherwise, the AccessDenied error is returned when you access the resources specified by Favorite Paths. If you select Pay-by-requester, you are charged for the traffic and requests that are generated when you access the resources specified by Favorite Paths.
For more information, see Enable pay-by-requester.
Click OK.
After you add an OSS access path, you can click the name of the path to access the corresponding object. You can click the icon on the right of a path to stick the path to the top of the path list. You can also click the icon on the right of a path to delete the path.
Historical Paths
Log on to the OSS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Historical Paths and view the most recent 10 access paths that are automatically saved by OSS.
