OpenSearch:API data source

Add an API data source

  1. Log on to the OpenSearch console. In the upper-left corner, select OpenSearch Retrieval Engine Edition. On the Instance Management page, find the instance that you want to manage and click Manage in the Actions column.

  1. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Configuration Center > Data Source. On the page that appears, click Add Data Source.

  1. In the Add Data Source panel, select API Data Source as the data source type, configure the Data Source Name parameter, and then click Verify.

Delete an API data source

  1. On the Data Source page, find the API data source that you want to delete and click Delete.

  1. Deleted API data sources cannot be recovered. Exercise caution when you delete an API data source.

Note:

  • If an index table is configured for an API data source, you must delete an index table before you delete the API data source. For more information about how to delete an index table, see Delete an index table in the topic of Index schema.

  • When you create an index based on the data in an API data source, the system clears the data that was previously synchronized and synchronizes data from the specified timestamp in real time. Exercise caution when you create an index based on the data in an API data source.
