Last Updated:Mar 22, 2024

This topic describes how to cancel a data retrieval task.

Prerequisites

A data retrieval task is created and is in the Running state.

Note

After you cancel a data retrieval task, the task is immediately stopped. You are charged for the retrieved data based on the storage usage of the General-purpose NAS file system (Capacity, Performance, or Premium NAS file system). For more information, see Billing of General-purpose NAS file systems.

Use the NAS console

  1. Log on to the NAS console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Lifecycle Management > Data Retrieval Tasks.

  3. In the top navigation bar, select a region.

  4. On the Data Retrieval Tasks page, find the running data retrieval task and click Cancel.

Use the API

You can also call the CancelLifecycleRetrieveJob operation to cancel a data retrieval task that is in the Running state.
