Managed Security Service is a service from Alibaba Cloud security experts that is based on years of security best practices. It provides comprehensive security technologies and consulting services to help you build and continuously optimize a security protection system for your cloud assets and secure your business. This topic describes how to activate and use Managed Security Service.
Step 1: Activate Managed Security Service
Before you use Managed Security Service for the first time, you must authorize the Mssp service-linked role and activate the service.
If you have already activated Managed Security Service, you can skip this step.
Log on to the Managed Security Service console.
In the Service Authorization dialog box, click Authorize And Activate.
After the authorization is complete, Managed Security Service creates a service-linked role named AliyunServiceRoleForMssp. This role allows Managed Security Service to access your resources, such as Elastic Computing Service (ECS), Security Center, Object Storage Service (OSS), and ApsaraDB RDS, to provide security services.
On the Managed Security Service page, click Purchase Now.
On the buy page, review the service content and select the service items to purchase based on your business needs. Then, configure the specifications.

Click Buy Now and complete the payment.
Step 2: View the service report
In the Managed Security Service console, you can query and download security service reports. These reports provide details and results of the services. The following steps describe how to download a security service report.
Log on to the Managed Security Service console.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose .
On the Security Service page, find the target service report, and in the Actions column, click Download.
