Managed Security Service (MSSP) provides comprehensive security technical and consulting services based on the security best practices of Alibaba Cloud over the years to help you build and optimize security protection systems and protect your workloads in the cloud. This topic describes how to activate and get started with MSSP.
Step 1: Activate MSSP
The first time you use MSSP, you must authorize MSSP to assume the corresponding service-linked role and activate MSSP.
Log on to the MSSP console.
In the Service Authorization dialog box, click Authorize and Activate.
After the authorization is complete, MSSP automatically creates a service-linked role named AliyunServiceRoleForMssp to access your resources in various products, such as Elastic Compute Service (ECS), Security Center, Object Storage Service (OSS), and ApsaraDB RDS, and perform the required operations.
On the Managed Security Service page, click Purchase Now.
On the buy page, read the service description for each service, select a service based on your business requirements, and then configure the specifications of the service.
If you set the Item parameter to 8/5 Edition, you must configure the ECS Instances and Subscription Duration parameters.
If you set the Item parameter to Security Assessment, you must configure the UIDs parameter.
Click Buy Now and complete the payment.
Step 2: View service reports
You can query and download security service reports in the MSSP console to view the detailed content and results of security services. The following section describes to how to download a report for the security hosting service.
Log on to the MSSP console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Security Service page, find the service report that you want to download and click Download in the Actions column.
