This topic describes how to change the billing method from pay-as-you-go to subscription for modules provided by Microservices Engine (MSE). If a large number of pay-as-you-go instances are required for your business and you want to use the instances for more than one month, we recommend that you change the billing method to subscription for these instances. This way, you can obtain savings over subscription.
Usage notes
Instances of MSE modules allow you to change the billing method from pay-as-you-go to subscription. You cannot change the billing method from subscription to pay-as-you-go for these instances.
Procedure
Log on to the MSE console, and select a region in the top navigation bar.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Microservices Registry > Instances.
On the Instances page, find the instance whose billing method you want to change, and click More in the Actions column. In the list that appears, select Change to Subscription.
On the Microservices Registry (Subscription) | Switch to Subscription page, select a subscription duration.
Click Buy Now.
On the Purchase page, confirm your order, and click Subscribe.
If Subscription is displayed in the Billing Method column of the MSE instance on the Instances page, the billing method of the MSE instance is changed to subscription.

The billing methods of SchedulerX include pay-as-you-go and CU resource plan. Fees are settled based on the actual usage of billable items. The billing methods are suitable for scenarios where business usage frequently changes.
Pay-as-you-go XXL-JOB instances allow you to change the billing method to subscription.
Log on to the MSE console, go to the XXL-JOBVersion page, and then select a region in the top navigation bar.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
Find the desired instance, and click More in the Operation column. In the list that appears, select Annual monthly subcontract.
On the XXL-JOB (Subscription) | Switch to Subscription page, select a subscription duration.
Click Buy Now.
On the Purchase page, confirm your order, and click Subscribe.
If Subscription is displayed in the Payment Method column of your MSE instance on the XXL-JOBVersion page, the billing method is changed to subscription.
Log on to the MSE console, and select a region in the top navigation bar.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Cloud-native Gateway > Gateways.
On the Gateways page, find the gateway whose billing method you want to change, and click More in the Actions column. In the list that appears, select Switch to Subscription.
On the Cloud-native Gateway (Subscription) | Switch to Subscription page, select a subscription duration.
Click Buy Now.
On the Purchase page, confirm your order, and click Subscribe.
If Subscription is displayed in the Billing Method column of the gateway on the Gateways page, the billing method of the gateway is changed to subscription.
