ApsaraDB for MongoDB allows you to adjust the provisioned performance of Enterprise SSD (ESSD) AutoPL disks. You can modify the provisioned I/O of ESSD AutoPL disks based on your business requirements to efficiently handle expected and unexpected traffic peaks.
Prerequisites
Your ApsaraDB for MongoDB instance uses ESSD AutoPL disks.
Limits
You can modify the provisioned IOPS of ESSD AutoPL disks at an interval of more than one hour. This means that you can only execute the next modification one hour later after completing the previous one. For more information, see Modify the performance configurations of an ESSD AutoPL disk.
Billing rules
If modifying the provisioned IOPS of ESSD AutoPL disks, you are charged based on different scenarios.
The unit price of IOPS is USD 0.00000089 per hour in the following scenarios.
The storage capacity of each node is 501 GB to 1,000 GB, and the provisioned IOPS ranges from 0 to 11,200.
The storage capacity of each node is 1,001 GB to 2,000 GB, and the provisioned IOPS ranges from 0 to 19,200.
