ApsaraDB for MongoDB:Create tags

You can create tags for one or more instances and add the tags to the instances to filter the instances by tag.

Prerequisites

An Alibaba Cloud account is created and used to log on to the ApsaraDB for MongoDB console. Resource Access Management (RAM) users do not have permissions to manage and use tags.

Limits

  • A tag consists of a tag key and a tag value. The tag key created by an Alibaba Cloud account is unique in a region. The tag values of different keys can be the same in the same region.

    Note

    A key can have zero to multiple values.

  • You can edit tags for a maximum of 50 instances at a time.

  • You can add up to 20 tags to an instance.

  • You can add or remove up to 20 tags at a time.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for MongoDB console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Replica Set Instances or Sharded Cluster Instances.

  3. In the upper-left corner of the page that appears, select the resource group and region to which the instance belongs.

  4. Perform one of the following operations based on your requirement:

    • Create tags for a single instance

      Find the instance for which you want to create tags, move the pointer over the image icon in the Tag, and then click Edit.

    • Create tags for multiple instances

      1. Select the instances for which you want to create tags.

      2. In the lower-left corner, click Edit Tag.

  5. In the Configure Tags dialog box, enter values in Tag Key and Tag Value, and then click OK.

    Note

    After you create tags for an instance, you can add the tags to other instances.

  6. After Configure Tags successfully is returned, click Close.

Result

After you create tags for an instance, you can view the information of the tags added to the instance in the instance list.
