You can enable deletion protection for your instances to prevent the instances on which important services are running from being accidentally released. After deletion protection is enabled for an instance, the instance cannot be released. To release the instance, disable deletion protection for the instance, and then release the instance.
Limits
Deletion protection takes effect only for pay-as-you-go instances.
Procedure
Log on to the Lindorm console.
In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where the instance is deployed.
On the Instances page, click the ID of the instance that you want to manage or click Manage in the Actions column corresponding to the instance.
In the Basic Information section, turn on the Deletion Protection switch.
In the Enable Deletion Protection or Disable Deletion Protection message, click OK.
NoteAfter deletion protection is enabled for an instance, the instance cannot be released. To release the instance, disable deletion protection for the instance first. You can use one of the following methods to release an instance:
