Intelligent Speech Interaction:Create hotwords

Prerequisites

Intelligent Speech Interaction is activated. For more information, see Activate Intelligent Speech Interaction.

Limits

• Only Chinese hotwords are supported.

• Each hotword file that you upload must be a .txt file encoded in UTF-8 without the byte order mark (BOM). The maximum size of each hotword file is 100 KB.

• Each hotword occupies a separate line in hotword files. Each hotword file can contain up to 128 lines. Each hotword can contain up to 10 Chinese characters in length.

• You must spell out the numerals in hotwords. For example, write 58.9 dollars as fifty-eight point nine dollars.

• Do not include special characters other than spaces, tabs, line feeds, and form feeds in the file.

Procedure

1. Log on to the Intelligent Speech Interaction console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Self-Learning Platform > Hotwords.

3. On the Hotwords page, click Create Hotword.

4. In the Create Hotword dialog box, enter a hotword group name, specify a hotword category, upload a hotword file, and then click OK.

   Alternatively, you can create a hotword group in the following way:

   1. In the left-side navigation pane, click All Projects.

   2. On the My Projects page, click Project Settings in the Actions column of the project for which you want to create a hotword group.

   3. In the Hotwords section of the Project Settings page, click Create Hotword.

5. On the Project Settings page, select the hotword group that you want to associate with the project, and then click Publish.
