This topic describes how to associate cloud resources with or disassociate cloud resources from the elastic IP addresses (EIPs) of an Internet Shared Bandwidth instance. This topic also describes how to disassociate EIPs from an Internet Shared Bandwidth instance.
Prerequisites
An EIP is created and the EIP is associated with an Internet Shared Bandwidth instance. For more information, see Associate EIPs with an Internet Shared Bandwidth instance.
Associate the EIP with a cloud resource
After you associate an EIP with an Internet Shared Bandwidth instance, you can associate the EIP with a cloud resource. Then, you can manage the inbound and outbound Internet traffic through the Internet Shared Bandwidth instance and use Gbit/s-level bandwidth (peak value).
Log on to the Internet Shared Bandwidth console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region in which the Internet Shared Bandwidth instance is created.
On the Internet Shared Bandwidth page, find the Internet Shared Bandwidth instance and click Manage in the Actions column.
On the IP Management for Internet Shared Bandwidth tab, find the EIP that you want to manage and click Bind in the Actions column.
In the Associate EIP with Resource dialog box, specify the type and ID of the cloud resource to be associated with the EIP and click OK.
For more information about the types of cloud resources that can be associated with EIPs, see the following topics:
Disassociate the EIP from a cloud resource
You can disassociate an EIP from a cloud resource when the cloud resource no longer needs to communicate with the Internet.
Log on to the Internet Shared Bandwidth console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region in which the Internet Shared Bandwidth instance is created.
On the Internet Shared Bandwidth page, find the Internet Shared Bandwidth instance and click Manage in the Actions column.
On the IP Management for Internet Shared Bandwidth tab, find the EIP that you want to manage and click in the Actions column.
In the Unbind Elastic IP Address message, click OK.
Disassociate an EIP from an Internet Shared Bandwidth instance
You can disassociate an EIP from an Internet Shared Bandwidth instance. After an EIP is disassociated from an Internet Shared Bandwidth instance, the bandwidth and the billing method of the EIP before the EIP is associated with the Internet Shared Bandwidth instance are restored.
In the Disassociate EIP from EIP Bandwidth Plan message, click OK.
After an EIP is disassociated from an Internet Shared Bandwidth instance:
For more information about how to change the maximum bandwidth or billing method of an EIP, see Change the configurations of a pay-as-you-go EIP.
For more information about how to release an EIP, see Release an EIP.
