Intelligent production supports editing and compositing, effect rendering, and template-based production for live streams, video-on-demand (VOD) files, and Object Storage Service (OSS) material files. This topic describes the architecture and features of intelligent production.
Architecture
The process of creating videos includes video capture, production, playback and interaction, and media asset management. Video production ensures the availability of captured videos for distribution and playback. Video production provides the online editing feature. This feature allows you to cut and merge videos, mix audio, add subtitles, overlay images, mask videos, and apply transition effects.
Features
The following table describes the features supported by intelligent production.
Feature | Description |
Live editing | Improves the editing and compositing speed by more than 20 times, supports redirection to regular editing, and shortens the processing time of highlight clips in live streaming. Live editing reconstructs the workflow to meet the requirements of editing time-sensitive content during live streaming. |
Standard editing | Provides timeline-based online editing tools, various API operations, and web SDKs for automated and intelligent video editing and collaborative video production. |
Template-based video production | Provides basic and advanced templates that you can use to create custom templates and replace materials to produce multiple videos at the same time. This streamlines the video production process and helps you meet specific retouching requirements. |
Intelligent generation | Provides features such as intelligent subtitling, intelligent speech interaction, green-screen image matting, and dynamic charts to improve video production efficiency. This helps meet the requirements for intelligent video production. |
Digital human | Provides text-driven or speech-driven digital human to simulate live-action broadcasts and supports automated video production. You can add subtitles and dynamic visual content, such as videos, images, and dynamic charts. |

Intelligent Media Services (IMS) provides various online editing templates and practical examples to guide you in producing videos based on timelines. You can use the online editing feature in the IMS console to edit videos. You can also call API operations on the server to edit videos based on timelines or template IDs. The following table provides the links to the examples.
