Normal

After an account is created, the account is in the normal state and can use all features. ​

Disabled

If an account is at risk or an employee is on a leave of absence, you can disable the account. You can enable or disable accounts only by using the console or API operations. Account data is not affected when an account is disabled.

A disabled account cannot use features. ​

Locked

Lock an account

An account is locked for five minutes after ten consecutive failed logon attempts within five minutes. Locked accounts cannot be used to log on.

Unlock an account

An account can be unlocked in one of the following ways.

  • An account that is locked is automatically unlocked after five minutes.

  • An administrator can click Unlock in the Actions column on the Accounts page to unlock an account.
