This topic describes the default quotas of general resources.
To prevent Alibaba Cloud resources from being wasted, Identity as a Service (IDaaS) sets default quotas on both paid and free resources.
The following default quotas are set to prevent waste in common scenarios. In most cases, you will not reach the quotas.
If you need more quotas for your routine business operations, such as more than 10,000 accounts and 2,000 organizations, contact us to increase the quotas.

Instances | 5 | You can create up to five IDaaS instances within each Alibaba Cloud account. |
Accounts on an instance | 50 | You can create up to 50 accounts on each Free Edition instance. The maximum number of accounts on each Enterprise Edition instance is subject to the number of paid accounts. |
Organizations on an instance | 2000 | You can create up to 2,000 organizations on each instance. If you want to increase the quotas, contact us. |
Organization depth | 10 | You can nest organizations up to 10 levels deep. |
Logon methods | 10 | You can set up to 10 logon methods. |
Applications | 1000 | You can create up to 1,000 applications on each Enterprise Edition instance and up to three applications on each Free Edition instance. |
Application synchronization objects | 10 | You can specify up to 200 organizations and groups as synchronization objects. |
Application accounts of an IDaaS account for an application | 5 | When an IDaaS account is used to log on to an application, this IDaaS account can be assigned up to five roles in the application. |
Identity providers (IdPs) on DingTalk | 10 | You can create up to 10 IdPs on DingTalk. |
Other inbound IdPs | 10 | You can create up to 10 inbound IdPs except IdPs on DingTalk. |
Other outbound IdPs | 10 | You can create up to 10 outbound IdPs except IdPs on DingTalk. |
Some default quota values in this version may differ from those in the earlier version. Contact us to confirm the actual quotas.
As IDaaS improves, new quota items may be added, and existing quotas may be adjusted based on customer feedback.
