Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) Cluster Monitoring includes ACK Cluster Monitoring Basic Edition and ACK Cluster Monitoring Pro Edition. ACK Cluster Monitoring Basic Edition is free of charge, whereas ACK Cluster Monitoring Pro Edition is charged based on the number of nodes in the ACK cluster that is monitored. This topic describes the billing rules for ACK Cluster Monitoring Pro Edition.

Billing rules for ACK Cluster Monitoring Pro Edition
ACK Cluster Monitoring Pro Edition supports the pay-as-you-go billing method. After ACK Cluster Monitoring Pro Edition is enabled for a cluster or ACK Cluster Monitoring Basic Edition is upgraded to ACK Cluster Monitoring Pro Edition, the Observability Capacity Units (OCUs) usage is automatically calculated based on the number of nodes in the cluster. 10 nodes are equivalent to one OCU. If the number of nodes is less than 10, the OCU usage is rounded up to one OCU.
OCU unit price
OCU is a new billing unit proposed by Managed Service for Grafana. The OCU usage is automatically calculated based on the hourly resource usage.

For example, an ACK Pro cluster has 239 nodes at 10:59, and the number of nodes is increased to 251 at 11:00. In this case, the fee charged from 10:00 to 10:59 is USD 0.552 (24 × 0.023), whereas the fee charged from 11:00 to 12:00 is USD 0.598 (26 × 0.023).
