.The following page is displayed if you have not activated WAF. You can activate the new version of WAF on this page. You are billed for the new version of WAF based on security capacity units (SeCUs).
Click Activate Now. You are redirected to the WAF page. Only Pay-By-SeCU is supported.
After the new version of WAF is activated
On this page, you can create policies such as web protection, whitelist, and custom policies.
Identify the old version of WAF
Before the old version of WAF is activated
Log on to the DCDN console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose
.The following page is displayed if you have activated the old version of WAF. You can activate the Basic, Pro, or Enterprise Edition. You are billed for the old version of WAF based on the number of requests.
After the old version of WAF is activated
On this page, you can add domain names to WAF and create website protection policies such as web security rules and bot management rules.
Switch from the old version to the new version of WAF and disable the old version of WAF
If you are using the old version of WAF, we recommend that you re-create the rules of the old version in the new version at the earliest opportunity. After you re-create all the rules, you can disable the old version of WAF on the page as shown in the following figure.
You are charged based on the billing method of the old WAF version until you successfully disable the old version. During the configuration of the new WAF version, your old WAF rules still need to remain in effect to safeguard your business. Therefore, DCDN does not delete the old WAF configurations. We recommend that you complete all rule configurations on the new WAF version before you delete the old version.
