You can use outbound data transfer plans to offset data transfer fees that are incurred when DCDN accelerates content delivery. Important If you want to use data transfer plans to offset data transfer fees, the metering method must be pay-by-data-transfer. If the metering method is pay-by-bandwidth, the plan will not take effect. The plan will resume taking effect when the metering method is changed to pay-by-data-transfer. | ||
After you enable DDoS mitigation, you need to purchase an Anti-DDoS instance of the Insurance plan or Unlimited plan. DDoS mitigation Important After you enable DDoS mitigation and add a domain name for protection, you are charged for all outbound traffic generated for the domain name based on the unit price of scrubbed traffic. Outbound traffic
You can purchase multiple outbound data transfer plans. The data transfer plans are applied in chronological order of expiration time. The system calculates the amount of outbound data transfer on an hourly basis. Your data transfer plans are automatically used to offset data transfer fees. Data transfer overage is billed on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Outbound data transfer plans are region-specific. Each data transfer plan takes effect only in the accelerated region that you specify when you purchase the data transfer plan.
