Tags can be used to identify resources that have the same characteristics (such as disks that belong to the same organization or that serve the same purpose) for easy search and management. This topic describes how to modify the tags of a disk.
Background information
For information about how to use tags, the resources that support tags, and the limits on tags, see Tags and the "Tag limits" section of the Limits topic.Reference
Log on to the ECS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
In the top navigation bar, select the region and resource group to which the resource belongs.
Find the disk whose tags you want to modify and move the pointer over the icon in the Tag column.
If the disk has no tag added, click Edit to add tags to the disk.
If the disk has tags added, click Edit to edit the tags.
To add a tag to multiple disks at a time, select the disks in the disk list and click Add Tag below the list.
In the Configure Tags dialog box, modify or add tags. Then, click OK.
What to do next
After tags are added to your disks, you can filter the disks by tag to perform different operations. For example, you can create snapshots for disks that have a set of tags and calculate the costs for disks that have a different set of tags.
