A job template allows you to create a job in an efficient manner. You do not need to set parameters for the job. This topic describes how to create, use, modify, and delete a job template.
Create a job template
You can create a maximum of 20 job templates in a region.
Log on to the Elastic High Performance Computing (E-HPC) console.
In the top navigation bar, select a region.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Job page, select a cluster from the Cluster drop-down list.
On the Job page, click the Submit Job tab.
On the Submit Job tab, set the parameters of the job, and click the
icon to save the job settings as a template. The name of a job template must be unique. For more information, see Use the E-HPC console to submit a job.
Use a job template
You can use a job template to create a job in an efficient manner.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Job page, select a cluster from the Cluster drop-down list.
On the Job page, click the Submit Job tab.
Select a job template from the Job Template drop-down list. Click Submit Job.
Modify a job template
You can modify a job template based on your needs.
Select a job template from the Job Template drop-down list.
Modify the job settings based on your needs.

Click the
icon to save the template.
Delete a job template
You can delete a job template that is no longer needed.
Select a job template from the Job Template drop-down list.
Click the
icon to delete the template.
