Mobile Platform as a Service:mPaaS baseline release overview

Last Updated:Feb 10, 2026

This topic describes the maintenance rules for mPaaS baselines. It also provides a list of the latest baselines and their upgrade instructions.

The maintenance cycle for the mPaaS client SDK follows the 2-3-6 rule. After a new major version baseline is officially released, the legacy major version baseline:

  • Stops accepting requests for new features after two months.

  • No longer receives system requirement adaptations after three months.

  • Stops receiving bug fixes and security patches after six months.

After full testing, a new major version baseline is released as a beta version for a period of time. During the beta release period, the mPaaS team provides top-priority support for the beta version. To ensure your application obtains new features immediately, start using the new baseline as soon as possible. The mPaaS team reserves the right to the final interpretation of these rules.
