VPN Gateway:Self-service diagnostics for SSL-VPN connections

VPN Gateway allows you to view the logs of SSL-VPN connections. After VPN Gateway is integrated with Network Intelligence Service (NIS), you can use features such as VPN gateway diagnostics and reachability analyzer. If you encounter issues such as connection exceptions or traffic exceptions when you use SSL-VPN connections, you can use the diagnostics features and references described in this topic to troubleshoot the issues.

Troubleshooting page

You can troubleshoot SSL-VPN connection issues on the Troubleshooting page in the Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) console.

  1. Log on to the VPC console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Troubleshooting.

  3. On the Troubleshooting page, click the VPN Gateway tab.

  4. Select an issue to view the possible causes and suggestions related to the issue. You can also troubleshoot the issue.

Other methods

You can also use the VPN gateway diagnostics and reachability analyzer features by using one of the following methods:

Method 1: Use the features on the VPN Gateways page

Log on to the VPN Gateway console. On the VPN Gateways page, find the VPN gateway that you want to manage and click Diagnose in the Diagnose column. Then, select a feature that you want to use. You can select the VPN gateway diagnostics or reachability analyzer feature.

Method 2: Use the features on the VPN gateway details page

  1. Log on to the VPN Gateway console.

  2. On the VPN Gateways page, find the VPN gateway that you want to manage and click its ID.

  3. On the VPN gateway details page, click the Diagnose tab and select a feature that you want to use. You can use the VPN gateway diagnostics or reachability analyzer feature.
