Overview
You can query the following types of logs in the Alibaba Cloud Domain Name System (DNS) console:
Operation logs: the logs related to the management of domain names on the Operation Logs page. You can view the time when an operation was performed, the domain name on which the operation was performed, and the specific operation in an operation log. Operations include adding, deleting, and retrieving domain names.
DNS logs: the operation logs related to the DNS records on the DNS Settings page. You can view the time when the operation was performed, the specific operation, and the IP address of the operator in a DNS log. Operations include adding, deleting, and modifying DNS records.
Limits
Alibaba Cloud DNS allows you to query the operation logs and DNS logs within only the last 6 months.
Procedure
Query operation logs
Log on to the Alibaba Cloud DNS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Operation Logs.
On the Operation Logs page, view the operation logs of domain names, such as logs of adding or deleting domain names.
Query DNS logs
On the Domain Name Resolution page, find the domain name for which you want to view DNS logs and click DNS Settings in the Actions column.
In the left-side navigation pane of the page that appears, click DNS Logs to view the logs of adding, deleting, or modifying DNS records.
