Overview
DNS Cache Refresh is a service that is used to refresh the cached DNS records on DNS servers of China Telecom in all provinces in the Chinese mainland. You can use this service to proactively delete the cached information of domain names from the DNS servers of China Telecom. This way, the domain name resolution results can quickly take effect.
Scenarios
The DNS Cache Refresh service is suitable for scenarios in which the domain name resolution results need to take effect immediately when a DNS record changes or a switchover occurs.
If a DNS record changes but the time-to-live (TTL) or the DNS cache on a local DNS server of China Telecom does not expire, the domain name resolution results slowly take effect. The DNS Cache Refresh service for China Telecom can immediately clear the cache from the local DNS servers of China Telecom and obtain the latest resolution results. This way, the resolution results can quickly take effect on the DNS servers of China Telecom.
The DNS Cache Refresh service for China Telecom is used to refresh the DNS records in the cache and make the resolution results quickly take effect on the local DNS servers of China Telecom. This service does not make domain name resolution results take effect on the entire network. The DNS records of other Internet service providers (ISPs) or public DNS servers are not refreshed.
The DNS Cache Refresh service for China Telecom is not suitable for business regulatory penalties that are initiated by the management departments in the Chinese mainland.
Pricing
This service is a subscription resource plan. You are charged USD 1,200 each time DNS records are refreshed.

If the resource plan is not used, Alibaba Cloud provides a 5-day money-back guarantee. You can submit a ticket to cancel the subscription.
: If the resource plan has been purchased for more than 5 days or has been used, you cannot cancel the subscription.
Procedure
Log on to the DNS console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Refresh ISP DNS Cache.
On the page that appears, enter an accurate domain name and click Click to Refresh.
You can enter only a domain name to refresh the cached DNS records that correspond to the domain name. Subdomains or wildcard domain names are not allowed. For example, you can enter example.com, www.example.com, or test.www.example.com.
4. On the Refresh Tasks tab, find your refresh task and check whether the task is successful based on the value of Task Execution Status.
5. If you want to query the status of the resolution results on the DNS servers of China Telecom, click Detection of National Effective DNS Resolution Results.
