Direct Mail:API endpoints

Last Updated:Aug 12, 2024

To reduce network costs when you access Direct Mail, we recommend that you use virtual private cloud (VPC) endpoints in the following scenarios.

Usage notes for VPC endpoints: 1. If you want to use the VPC endpoint of a recipient region, you must access the VPC endpoint from an elastic compute service (ECS) instance or a container that resides in the same region as the recipient region. Otherwise, you cannot access the VPC endpoint. 2. The IP address of your ECS instance or container can be identified by a VPC endpoint. If you use Direct Mail and enable the IP protection feature, you must add the IP address to the whitelist in the Direct Mail console.
