This topic describes the procedure for using Dedicated Host (DDH) to help you quickly get started.
Before you begin
Before you use the DDH service, make sure that you have created an Alibaba Cloud account and provided required account information. To create an Alibaba Cloud account and provide required account information, perform the following steps:
Complete real-name verification before you purchase Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances in the Chinese mainland. For more information, see Real-name verification FAQs.
Procedure
Before you use the DDH service, you must create a dedicated host and create an ECS instance on the dedicated host. The following figure shows the procedure. 
Before you use the DDH service, make sure that you have created an Alibaba Cloud account and provided required account information.
A dedicated host is a cloud host whose physical resources are dedicated to a single tenant. As the only tenant of a host, you do not need to share its physical resources with other tenants.
Create one or more ECS instances on a dedicated host
You can create an ECS instance on a dedicated host to deploy your services on the ECS instance. Physical resources such as CPU, memory, and network interface controller are all dedicated to you for higher security.
