After your DataV instance expires, it can no longer be used. The system sends you a notification before and after expiration. If you want to continue using your DataV instance, you must settle your overdue payment in a timely manner.
Subscription lifecycle
The following stages describe what happens when a DataV instance approaches and reaches its expiration date.
Before expiration
Seven days before the instance is stopped, the system sends you a message or notification email. We recommend that you renew your instance before it expires to avoid any disruption to your work.
After expiration
After a DataV instance expires, the instance is released immediately. The system sends you a notification after the instance is released.
Your saved visualization projects and other production content are retained for 15 days. During this 15-day retention period, you can purchase DataV again at any time and continue your work.
The price of a renewal for the same period may differ from the original price because of promotions on Alibaba Cloud. For example, some promotions are available only at renewals.
Renewal pricing and periods
The available renewal periods depend on your DataV edition:

Renew a DataV instance
Log on to the DataV console.

Find the region of the instance that you want to renew and click Renew. The Renew page appears.

On the Renew page, select a renewal period as needed.
Note-
For Basic Edition, the renewal period must be 1 year. For Enterprise Edition and Professional Edition, you can select 1 to 9 months or 1 year.

After you select a renewal period, the expiration date is displayed.

Read the Alibaba Cloud International Website Product Terms of Service and click Buy Now. Then, complete the renewal as prompted.
