To reduce the number of instances using DASAudit Log and DASAlibaba Cloud Managed Services (formerly DAS Economy Edition), or if you no longer use these services, this topic explains how to shut down DASAudit Log and DASAlibaba Cloud Managed Services (formerly DAS Economy Edition).
Precautions
After you disable DAS Audit Log, the SQL Explorer and audit features for the corresponding database instance are disabled. The SQL Explorer and audit logs are purged. This does not affect your business.
If you only want to reduce storage fees for SQL Explorer and audit, you can decrease the data's storage duration. For more information, see Manage DAS Audit Log and Alibaba Cloud Managed Services (formerly DAS Economy Edition).
If you want to cancel DAS Enterprise Edition, export the SQL Explorer and audit logs and save them locally before canceling the service. For more information about how to export data, see Disable SQL Explorer and audit.
If you have canceled V3 compliance audit for all instances in your account, promptly unsubscribe from the corresponding storage disks to avoid incurring fees for idle resources.
Canceling DASManaged Services (formerly Economy Edition) will disable all value-added and new features provided by DASManaged Services (formerly Economy Edition) and purge the related historical data.
After DAS Economy Edition is upgraded to Alibaba Cloud Managed Services, DAS Economy Edition will be gradually phased out. To continue using the service, enable Alibaba Cloud Managed Services. You can unsubscribe from DAS Economy Edition on the Service Management tab of the Instance List page to avoid further charges.

To cancel DAS Alibaba Cloud Managed Services (formerly DAS Economy Edition) or DAS Audit Log for a target database instance, see Cancel Alibaba Cloud Managed Services (formerly DAS Economy Edition) or Audit Log for a target database instance.
After you cancel DAS Alibaba Cloud Managed Services (formerly DAS Economy Edition) and DAS Audit Log, you can still use the features of DAS Basic Edition. For more information about the features of the Basic Edition, see Product editions and features.
View enabled DAS editions
View the edition for a single instance
You can log on to the DAS console.
In the navigation pane on the left, select Intelligent O&M Center > Instance Monitoring.
Select the database engine type and click the target instance ID.
In the upper-right corner of the page, you can view the current DAS edition.
View all enabled editions
You can log on to the DAS console.
In the navigation pane on the left, select Resource Management > Instance List.
You can view on the Cloud Instance tab.
Cancel Alibaba Cloud Managed Services (formerly DAS Economy Edition) or Audit Log for a target database instance
Audit Log
You can log on to the DAS console.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Resource Management > Instance List.
In the Audit Log Service column of the target instance, click Change Configuration.
In the Enable Service section of the Full Logs panel, clear all selected services.
Click Submit.
Select or enter a reason and confirm the related risks.
Click Submit and Unsubscribe.
Alibaba Cloud Managed Services (formerly DAS Economy Edition)
In the upper-right corner of the DAS console, select to submit a ticket to disable DAS Enterprise Edition and request a refund.
