Database Autonomy Service:Renewal management

Last Updated:Aug 02, 2024

This topic describes how to manually or automatically renew Database Autonomy Service (DAS) Enterprise Edition V1.

Background information

DAS Enterprise Edition V1 is billed on a subscription basis. If you activate DAS Enterprise Edition V1 for database instances and use SQL Explorer, you are also charged for the storage of SQL Explorer data on a pay-as-you-go basis. The renewal refers to extending the subscription duration. You do not need to renew the storage for SQL Explorer data, but you must make sure that your Alibaba Cloud account has sufficient balance to prevent service interruptions.

If DAS Enterprise Edition V1 expires and is not renewed, the system automatically suspends the service and deletes all related data, such as the SQL Explorer data and analytical data. For more information, see Billing details.
