This topic describes the fields that are used in Dispatch Center of Cloud Migration Hub (CMH).

Fields for creating a scheduling group

Field

Scheduling group name

The name of the scheduling group to be created. The name is used to distinguish among different scheduling groups.

  • The names of scheduling groups within the same Alibaba Cloud account must be unique.

Concurrent number

The maximum number of tasks that can be concurrently run in the scheduling group.

  • Valid values: 1 to 100.

  • We recommend that you estimate the maximum number of instances that can be concurrently migrated based on the bandwidth of your business and set the Concurrent number field to this maximum number.

  • If you set the Concurrent number parameter to 1 and more than one tasks, such as five tasks, need to be run, the remaining four tasks are not run when the first task is in progress. This is a normal case.

Scheduling time

The time range within which the tasks in the scheduling group are scheduled.

  • 8-22: The tasks are scheduled from 8:00 to 22:00 every day.

  • 22-8: The tasks are scheduled from 22:00 on the current day to 8:00 on the next day.

Scheduling rule

Specifies whether the remaining tasks are run if a task in the scheduling group fails.

  • Continue: If a task in the scheduling group fails, the remaining tasks are run.

  • Abort: If a task in the scheduling group fails, the remaining tasks are not run.

The sequence number of the scheduling group.

Scheduling group name

The name of the scheduling group. The name is used to distinguish among different scheduling groups.

  • The names of scheduling groups within the same Alibaba Cloud account must be unique.

Scheduling group ID

The unique ID of the scheduling group.

Current number of tasks

The total number of tasks in the scheduling group.

  • Total number of tasks = Number of successful tasks + Number of failed tasks + Number of tasks in other states.

Task details

The details of tasks in the scheduling group.

  • Successful mission: the number of tasks that are successfully run in the scheduling group.

  • Failed tasks: the number of tasks that fail to be run in the scheduling group.

Rule details

The scheduling rules of the scheduling group.

  • Concurrent number: the maximum number of tasks that can be concurrently run in the scheduling group.

  • Scheduling Time: the time range within which the tasks in scheduling group are scheduled.

  • Scheduling rule: indicates whether the remaining tasks are run if a task in the scheduling group fails.

Scheduling status

The status of the scheduling group.

  • On: The tasks in the scheduling group can be scheduled.

  • Off: The tasks in the scheduling group cannot be scheduled. If you turn off Scheduling status, the tasks in progress continue to run, but the remaining tasks in the scheduling group will not be scheduled.

Actions

The operations that can be performed on the schedule scheduling group. Only the Delete operation is available.

  • You can delete a scheduling group after you turn off Scheduling status for the scheduling group.

  • If you delete a scheduling group, the tasks in progress continue to run, but the remaining tasks in the scheduling group will not be scheduled.
