Before your subscription to Cloud Firewall expires, you must renew the subscription
to ensure that Cloud Firewall can continue to protect your assets. This topic describes
how to manually renew the subscription to Cloud Firewall and how to enable auto-renewal
for Cloud Firewall.
Background information
If you enable auto-renewal, the system automatically renews your subscription to Cloud
Firewall. You do not need to manually renew your subscription. If you use manual renewal,
you must renew the subscription to Cloud Firewall within seven days after the subscription
expires. Otherwise, Alibaba Cloud deletes all your configurations and data in Cloud
Firewall.
Procedure
- Log on to the Cloud Firewall console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Overview.
- On the Overview page, perform manual renewal or enable auto-renewal based on your business requirements.
- Manual renewal
Renew the subscription to extend the validity period of the current Cloud Firewall
edition.
- In the upper-right corner, click Renew and configure the Duration parameter.
- Read and select Cloud Firewall Terms of Service. Then, click Buy Now.
After the payment is complete, you can view the validity period of Cloud Firewall
in the upper-right corner of the Overview page.
- Auto-renewal
If you enable the auto-renewal feature, the system deducts fees from your account
and renews your subscription nine days before your subscription expires. The system
can deduct fees only if you have a sufficient balance in your account. This feature
prevents service suspension in cases where you forgot to renew your subscription in
time.
- In the upper-right corner, click Auto Renewal. On the page that appears, select your Cloud Firewall and click Enable Auto Renewal.
- In the Enable Auto Renewal dialog box, select a value from the Unified Auto Renewal Cycle drop-down list.
After the auto-renewal configuration is complete, you can view the auto-renewal details
on the Auto tab. You can also change the renewal method in the Actions column.
