Cloud Firewall supports switching between subscription and pay-as-you-go billing at any time. Choose the section that matches your current billing method.
Switch from subscription to pay-as-you-go
Before you begin
When you switch from subscription to pay-as-you-go, you receive a refund for the unused portion of your subscription.
If the log analysis feature is enabled, pay-as-you-go billing uses the log storage capacity of your original subscription plan. To adjust the capacity after switching, go to the Overview page, find the Assets Are Protected for section, and click Upgrade.
Steps
Log on to the Cloud Firewall consoleCloud Firewall console.
In the upper-right corner of the Overview page, choose More > Switch To Pay-as-you-go.
On the Cloud Firewall Subscription To Pay-As-You-Go page, read the Note and Terms Of Service, then click Buy Now.
After the switch completes, Cloud Firewall is billed by pay-as-you-go. Your access control policies remain unchanged.

Before you begin
The final bill for your pay-as-you-go usage is generated and settled at 18:00 on the following day (T+1) after the switch.
Before purchasing a subscription plan, confirm the following:
The subscription plan specifications must be greater than or equal to the number of assets currently protected.
The switch begins after the purchase is complete. Until then, your pay-as-you-go plan and its configurations remain active.
Access control policies are not affected by the switch. After switching, go to the console to confirm your configurations if needed.
Steps
Log on to the Cloud Firewall consoleCloud Firewall console.
In the upper-right corner of the Overview page, choose More > Switch Billing Method from Pay-as-you-go to Subscription.
On the Switch Billing Method of Cloud Firewall from Pay-as-you-go to Subscription page, read the Note, select I have read and understand the preceding note., then click Confirm.
On the Cloud Firewall purchase page, purchase a subscription edition of Cloud Firewall.
After the purchase completes, Cloud Firewall switches to subscription billing. Your access control policies remain unchanged.
Troubleshooting
The switch does not take effect after I complete the purchase.
The switch begins only after the purchase is successfully processed. If the purchase is still pending, your pay-as-you-go plan remains active. Wait for the purchase to complete, then refresh the Overview page to confirm the billing method has changed.
The purchase page shows an error about plan specifications.
The subscription plan you selected may not meet the minimum requirement. Check the number of assets currently protected, then select a plan with specifications that are greater than or equal to that number.
