Checks whether a resource inherits the resource group to which an Elastic Compute Service (ECS) disk belongs. If not, the evaluation result is non-compliant.
Scenarios
To facilitate cloud-based IT management, resource groups are used to group your resources based on multiple dimensions such as usage, permissions, and ownership. You can add an ECS disk and relevant resources to the same resource group. This helps you manage resources such as snapshots in a fine-grained manner.
Risk level
Default risk level: medium.
When you configure this rule, you can change the risk level based on your business requirements.
Compliance evaluation logic
If a resource does not inherit the resource group to which an ECS disk belongs, the evaluation result is non-compliant.
