Checks whether the Automatically Associate New Nodes parameter is set to Off for the read-only endpoint of each PolarDB cluster. If so, the evaluation result is Compliant.
Scenarios
This rule applies when you need to manually manage a read-only endpoint. This prevents the write performance of the read-only endpoint from being affected due to the new nodes that are automatically associated with the read-only endpoint.
Risk level
Default risk level: medium.
When you configure this rule, you can change the risk level based on your business requirements.
Compliance evaluation logic
- If the Automatically Associate New Nodes parameter is set to Off for the read-only endpoint of each PolarDB cluster, the evaluation result is Compliant.
- If the Automatically Associate New Nodes parameter is set to On for the read-only endpoint of a PolarDB cluster, the evaluation result is Incompliant. For more information about how to remediate an incompliant configuration, see Incompliance remediation.
- This rule does not apply to PolarDB clusters that do not have read-only endpoints.
