Checks whether each Elastic Compute Service (ECS) data disk is attached to an ECS instance.
Scenarios
You must release idle ECS data disks within your Alibaba Cloud account on a regular basis to reduce costs generated by unnecessary resources.
Risk level
Default risk level: low.
You can change the risk level as required when you apply this rule.
Compliance evaluation logic
- If each ECS data disk is attached to an ECS instance, the evaluation result is compliant.
- If one or more ECS data disks are not attached to ECS instances, the evaluation result is non-compliant. For more information about how to correct the non-compliant configuration, see Non-compliance remediation.
