This topic describes how to delete a rule that is no longer required. After you delete a rule, the configurations of the rule are also deleted.
Background information
If you delete a compliance package, all rules in the compliance package are automatically deleted. For more information about how to delete a compliance package, see Delete a compliance package.
Procedure
Log on to the Cloud Config console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose
.Delete one or more rules.
Delete a rule
Click the icon in the Actions column of the rule that you want to delete and click Delete.
In the Delete Rule message, click OK.
Delete multiple rules at a time
Select the rules that you want to delete and click Delete below the rule list.
In the Delete Rule message, click OK.
Check the deletion result.
After you delete a rule, the rule is no longer displayed on the Rules page.
