Checks whether the architecture of each Application Load Balancer (ALB) instance is multi-zone. If so, the evaluation result is Compliant.
Scenarios
This rule applies when you need to use ALB instances of the multi-zone architecture to implement zone-disaster recovery. This prevents your business from being interrupted due to server room failures or unavailability in your primary zone.
Risk level
Default risk level: high.
When you configure this rule, you can change the risk level based on your business requirements.
Compliance evaluation logic
- If the architecture of each ALB instance is multi-zone, the evaluation result is Compliant.
- If the architecture of an ALB instance is not multi-zone, the evaluation result is Incompliant. For more information about how to remediate an incompliant configuration, see Incompliance remediation.
