ApsaraDB for ClickHouse provides two storage types: hot data disk and cold data disk. This topic describes the storage fees of the storage types.

The fees provided in this topic are for reference only. The actual fees in the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console shall prevail.

Background information

  • Hot data disks are Enterprise SSDs (ESSDs) or ultra disks that you select when you create clusters. Hot data disks store data that is frequently accessed and are suitable for business scenarios that require high-performance data access.

    ESSDs are classified into four performance levels (PLs) based on the maximum performance per disk. For more information, see the ESSD PLs section of this topic.

  • Cold data disks store data that is not frequently accessed and are suitable for business scenarios that require cost-effective storage. Before you use cold data disks, you must enable tiered storage of hot data and cold data.
