This topic describes the application scenarios of the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse service-linked role (AliyunServiceRoleForClickHouse) and how to delete the role.

Background information

To implement a feature, ApsaraDB for ClickHouse may require permissions to access other Alibaba Cloud services. The service-linked role AliyunServiceRoleForClickHouse is a Resource Access Management (RAM) role that authorizes ApsaraDB for ClickHouse to access such services. For more information about service-linked roles, see Service-linked roles.

AliyunServiceRoleForClickHouse description

Role name: AliyunServiceRoleForClickHouse

Policy attached to the role: AliyunServiceRolePolicyForClickHouse

Permission description:
  1. Log on to the RAM console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Identities > Roles.
  3. On the Roles page, enter AliyunServiceRoleForClickHouse in the search box and click the name of the role.
  4. On the Permissions tab, click the policy that you want to manage.
  5. On the Policy Document tab, view the permission description.

Delete a service-linked role

Before you delete the AliyunServiceRoleForClickHouse role, you need to release all clusters that depend on the role.
