This topic describes how to delete a pay-as-you-go ApsaraDB for ClickHouse cluster in the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console.
After a cluster is deleted, all data in the cluster is deleted and cannot be restored. Proceed with caution. We recommend that you migrate or back up your data in a cluster before you delete the cluster. For more information, see Data Migration And Synchronization and Export and import a CSV file.
Prerequisites
The cluster that you want to delete is in the Running state.
Usage notes
A subscription cluster cannot be deleted. The cluster is automatically released after it expires. For more information, see Expiration and overdue payments.
Billing rules
After you release an ApsaraDB for ClickHouse cluster, you are no longer charged for the cluster. At the same time, the Classic Load Balancer (CLB) instance mounted to the cluster is released and will no longer incur fees in the next billing cycle. For more information, see Billing details about relevant services.
If a cluster is locked and then released due to overdue payments, the CLB instance mounted to the cluster is not released until the overdue payments are completed.
If your cluster is locked due to overdue payments, you are charged for the CLB instance mounted to the cluster before the cluster is released.
