Chat App Message Service:Upload materials

This topic describes how to upload images, documents, and videos that can be used in message templates.

Note

All uploaded materials are automatically saved to the material library. You can go to the material library to manage the materials.

Upload an image

  1. Log on to the Chat App Message Service console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Channel management.

  3. On the Channel management page, click a channel ID or click Management in the Operation column that corresponds to the desired channel.

  4. On the page that appears, click Template design in the left-side navigation pane.

  5. In the template list, click the name of the desired template or click Edit in the Operation column of the desired template.

  6. On the template design page, select Image for the Material type parameter in the header setting section.

  7. Click Select sample content.

  8. In the Resource selection dialog box, click Upload file and select the file that you want to upload.

  9. In the Upload file dialog box, set the Resource name and Picture parameters.

  10. Click OK.

    Note

    You can upload a JPG or PNG image that does not exceed 2 MB in size.

Upload a document

  1. On the template design page, select Document for the Material type parameter in the header setting section.

  2. Click Select sample content.

  3. In the Resource selection dialog box, click Upload file and select the file that you want to upload.

  1. In the Upload file dialog box, set the Resource name and Thumbnail parameters.

  2. Click OK.

    Note

    You can upload a TXT or PDF document that does not exceed 10 MB in size.

Upload a video

  1. On the template design page, select Video for the Material type parameter in the header setting section.

  2. Click Select sample content.

  3. In the Resource selection dialog box, click Upload file and select the video that you want to upload.

  4. In the Upload file dialog box, set the Resource name and Thumbnail parameters.

  5. Click OK.

    Note

    You can upload an MP4 or WebM video. The video cannot exceed 10 MB in size and the video duration cannot exceed 60 seconds.
