Chat App Message Service:Service settings

Last Updated:Sep 14, 2024

On the Service settings page, you can connect your business system to Chat App Message Service. This topic describes how to connect a business system and enable the SMS service in the Chat App Message Service console.

Prerequisites

Connect to a business system

  1. Log on to the Chat App Message Service console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Channel management.

  3. On the Channel management page, click a channel ID or click Management in the Operation column that corresponds to the desired channel.

  4. On the page that appears, click Service settings in the left-side navigation pane.

  5. On the page that appears, click Open the business system.

  6. In the Open the business system dialog box, set System name, API address, Signature, and Remarks.

    Note
    • A signature is used for authentication. Chat App Message Service needs to carry the generated signature to call the specified API address. After you specify the API address parameter, click the Refresh icon in the Signature field to obtain a signature. The signature is updated each time you click the Refresh icon.

    • You can click the Edit icon next to the business system name to modify the information about the business system, or click the Delete icon in the business system card to remove the business system.

Intent settings

    Note
    • An intent is a trigger event created in your business system and can be called when you design a message template.

    • Before you add an intent, you must connect your business system to Chat App Message Service.

  1. On the service settings page, click Intention setting in the business system card.

  2. In the panel that appears, click Add. In the Add intent dialog box, set Intent code, Intent name, and Default intent data.

  3. Click OK.

Enable the SMS service

On the service settings page, turn on the SMS service switch. For more information about the SMS service, see Short Message Service.
