This topic describes how to create variables that apply to the template you created.
Procedure
When you set the content body or add a header for a template on the template design page, you can create variables based on your business requirements.
Create a text variable
Text variables can be used in the message body, header text, and description of a header document or video.
Click Select variables and click Add variable.
In the Add variable dialog box, set the following parameters: Variable code, Variable name, and Example value.
Click OK.
Create an image variable
When you configure a header image, you can clear As send content and then you can use an image variable to specify a header image.
Click Select variables and click Add variable.
In the Add variable dialog box, set the following parameters: Variable code, Variable name, and Example value.
Click OK.
Create a document variable
When you configure a header document, you can clear As send content and then you can use a document variable to specify a header document.
Click Select variables and click Add variable.
In the Add variable dialog box, set the following parameters: Variable code, Variable name, and Example value.
Click OK.
Create a video variable
When you configure a header video, you can clear As send content and then you can use a video variable to specify a header video.
Click Select variables and click Add variable.
In the Add variable dialog box, set the following parameters: Variable code, Variable name, and Example value.
Click OK.
