Overview
This topic describes how to update a file after the Alibaba Cloud CDN is configured to prevent users from still accessing the old cache resources.
Description
When you use Alibaba Cloud Content Delivery Network acceleration resources, see the following methods to update files:
- In order to accurately find the content of the origin site before and after the update, we recommend that you do not use the same name to update the content of the origin site, but synchronize the content with the version number, that is, use different names when updating the content of the origin site. For example, you can name a resource img-v1.0.jpg and name the updated resource img-v2.1.jpg.
- For an object that must be updated with the same name, you can submit a refresh request from the console or OpenAPI. For more information, see Configure refresh and preload. A maximum of 2000 refresh requests can be submitted per day with the same ID. A maximum of 1000 requests can be submitted at a time. Directory refresh is supported. After you use the Alibaba Cloud Content Delivery Network refresh and preload function, if the accessed resources are not updated, see After using the Alibaba Cloud Content Delivery Network refresh and preload function, the accessed resources are not updated for processing.
