Managed Service for Prometheus uses pay-as-you-go billing. You are not charged upfront fees, so refunds do not apply. To stop incurring charges, release your Prometheus instances and resources.
Billing overview
Managed Service for Prometheus generates a bill for the previous day on a daily basis and deducts the amount from your Alibaba Cloud account balance. You are not charged upfront fees. Therefore, you cannot apply for a refund.
Stop charges by releasing Prometheus instances and resources
If you no longer need Managed Service for Prometheus, back up or migrate the data in your Prometheus instances, and then release the instances and resources. After you release an instance, you are no longer charged for it.
To release a Prometheus instance:
Log on to the ARMS console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Managed Service for Prometheus > Instances.
On the Instances page, find the target instance and click Delete in the Actions column.
In the confirmation dialog box, click OK.
