When your organization operates multiple Alibaba Cloud accounts, monitoring alerts separately in each account increases operational overhead. ARMS alert forwarding lets you route alerts from multiple accounts to a single receiving account, so your team can manage all alerts in one place.
How it works
ARMS isolates resources by Alibaba Cloud account. Each account can only view and manage its own alerts. Alert forwarding bridges this isolation by connecting accounts in two steps:
Receiving account -- Create an ARMS integration to generate an endpoint URL. This account collects alerts from all other accounts.
Sending accounts -- Configure each account to forward its ARMS alerts to the receiving account's endpoint URL.
In the following example, Account A is the receiving account. Accounts B and C forward their alerts to Account A.
Alert forwarding only supports alert events generated by ARMS. Alert events from other integrated alert sources cannot be forwarded.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that you have:
At least two Alibaba Cloud accounts
Permissions to access the ARMS console and manage alert integrations on all involved accounts
Step 1: Create an integration on the receiving account
Create an ARMS integration on the receiving account (Account A in this example) to generate the endpoint URL that sending accounts use.
Log on to the ARMS console with the receiving account.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alert Management > Integrations.
On the Alert Integrations tab, click ARMS.
In the Create ARMS Integration dialog box, configure the following parameters, and then click Save.
Parameter Description Integration name A descriptive name for the integration, such as multi-account-alerts.Description A brief description of the integration purpose. Automatic recovery time The duration after which unrepeated alert events are automatically recovered.
After the configuration is complete, you can view the new ARMS integration on the Alert Integrations tab.

On the Alert Integrations tab, find the newly created integration and copy its endpoint URL. Save this URL for Step 2.
Step 2: Configure forwarding on each sending account
Configure each sending account (Accounts B and C in this example) to forward alerts to the receiving account.
Repeat the following steps for each sending account:
Log on to the ARMS console with the sending account.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alert Management > Integrations.
On the Alert Integrations tab, find the ARMS-DEFAULT integration and click Forward Alert in the Actions column.
In the ARMS-DEFAULT Forwarding Alert dialog box, paste the endpoint URL of the receiving account and click OK.
After you complete these steps, ARMS alerts from the sending account are automatically forwarded to the receiving account.
Stop forwarding alerts
To stop forwarding alerts from a sending account:
Log on to the ARMS console with the sending account.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alert Management > Integrations.
On the Alert Integrations tab, find the ARMS-DEFAULT integration and click Forward Settings in the Actions column.
In the dialog box, click Stop Forwarding.
