Application Real-Time Monitoring Service:Contact groups

When you create a notification policy, you can specify a contact group to receive alert notifications. When a matching rule of the notification policy is triggered, the alert management module of Application Real-Time Monitoring Service (ARMS) sends alert notifications to contacts in the specified contact group by using phone calls, text messages, emails, and DingTalk messages.

Prerequisites

A contact or a DingTalk, WeCom, or Lark chatbot is created.

Create a contact group

  1. Log on to the ARMS console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alert Management > Notification Objects.
  2. On the Contacts tab, click Create Contact Group.

  3. In the Create Contact Group dialog box, configure the Group Name, select Alert Contacts, and then click OK.

    After the contact group is created, the contact group is displayed in the left-side list on the Contacts tab.

Manage contact groups

After you create a contact group, you can search for, edit, and delete the contact group on the Contacts tab.

  • To edit a contact group, choose 更多图标 > Edit Group to the right of the contact group. In the dialog box that appears, modify the name or contacts of the contact group, and then click OK.

  • To view the contacts in a contact group, click the Down arrow icon to the left of the contact group.

  • To delete a contact group, choose 更多图标 > Delete Group to the right of the contact group. In the message that appears, click OK.

    Important
    • Before you delete a contact group, make sure that the contact group is not added to a notification policy. Otherwise, alert notifications may fail to be sent.

    • You can delete only contact groups that are created by using the current account.
