Billing formula

Storage fee = Storage space × Unit price × Storage duration

• The storage space is the amount of space used by the instance at the start of the billing cycle (1 hour).

  For example, to calculate the storage usage from 05:00 to 06:00, the system uses the amount of storage space used by the instance at 05:00.

• A storage duration of less than 1 hour within a billing cycle is counted as 1 hour.

  For example, assume an instance uses 5.8 GB of storage space at 05:00 and 0 GB at 05:20. For the billing cycle from 05:00 to 06:00, the storage fee is calculated as follows: Storage fee = 5.8 GB × Unit price × 1 hour.

Storage fees for ApsaraMQ for RocketMQ are based on the amount of storage space used and the storage duration.

Storage space is mainly used to store messages on the server-side ApsaraMQ for RocketMQ instance. In addition, the metadata of instances, topics, and groups also uses a small amount of storage space.

Storage fees are charged on a pay-as-you-go basis, regardless of whether you purchase a subscription or pay-as-you-go instance.
