ApsaraMQ for MQTT:Manage instances

ApsaraMQ for MQTT uses instances to host messaging services and store your topics and groups. Each instance runs on a dedicated virtual machine and is billed on a subscription (prepaid) basis. Two editions are available: Standard Edition and Enterprise Platinum Edition.

Create an instance

  1. Log on to the ApsaraMQ for MQTT console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances.

  2. In the top navigation bar, select a region. In the upper-left corner, click Create Instance.

  3. In the panel that appears, keep the default Subscription billing method, and then click OK.

  4. On the buy page, select the specifications based on your requirements, accept the terms of service, and then click Buy Now.

  5. On the payment page, complete the payment as prompted.

Update instance name and description

  1. On the Instances page, find the target instance and click the instance name or Details in the Actions column.

  2. In the Basic Information section of the Instance Details page, click Edit next to Name and Description. Enter new values and click OK.

View instance details

After you create an instance, go to the Instance Details page to view basic information, messaging statistics, and endpoints.

On the Instances page, find the target instance and click the instance name or Details in the Actions column.

Basic information

In the Overview and Basic Information sections, view properties such as the instance edition, instance ID, instance status, and billing method.

Statistics

Click the Statistics tab and specify a time range to view messaging metrics:

Endpoints

Click the Endpoints tab to view the instance endpoints. For more information, see Endpoints.

Delete an instance

Warning
  • After an instance is deleted, its data cannot be recovered.

  • Subscription instances cannot be manually released. A subscription instance is deleted only after it expires.

  • Before you delete an instance, clear all topics and groups on the instance.

  1. On the Instances page, find the target instance and choose More > Delete in the Actions column.

  2. In the Note dialog, click OK.
