ApsaraMQ for Kafka:Enable the connector feature

This topic describes how to enable the connector feature for your ApsaraMQ for Kafka instance.

Prerequisites

An ApsaraMQ for Kafka instance that meets the following requirements is purchased and deployed.

Version

The version of the ApsaraMQ for Kafka instance must meet one of the following conditions:

  • The major version is 0.10.2, and the minor version is the latest version.

  • The major version is 2.2.0 or 2.6.2.

Note

You can view the status of the instance and the version information about the instance in the Basic Information section of the Instance Details page in the ApsaraMQ for Kafka console.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraMQ for Kafka console.

  2. In the Resource Distribution section of the Overview page, select the region where the ApsaraMQ for Kafka instance that you want to manage resides.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Connectors.
  4. On the Connectors page, select the instance in which the data source topic resides from the Select Instance drop-down list and click Create Connector.
  5. In the You have not enabled the connector feature for the instance. message, click OK.

What to do next

After the connector feature is enabled for your ApsaraMQ for Kafka instance, you can create a Function Compute sink connector to synchronize data from your ApsaraMQ for Kafka instance to Function Compute or create a MaxCompute sink connector to synchronize data from your Message Queue for Apache Kafka instance to MaxCompute.
