This topic describes how to start, stop, and resume a data synchronization task.

Start a data synchronization task

  1. Log on to the

    ApsaraDB for OceanBase console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Transmission > Data Synchronization.

  3. On the Synchronization Tasks page, find the task that you want to start and click the Start button corresponding to the task.

  4. The system starts the data synchronization task after the task passes the precheck.

Stop a data synchronization task

You can stop a data synchronization task only when it is in the Running state. After a data synchronization task is stopped, the data transmission service stops the scheduling of the synchronization task, and the latency increases in real time.

  1. Log on to the

    ApsaraDB for OceanBase console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Transmission > Data Synchronization.

  3. On the Synchronization Tasks page, find the task that you want to stop and click the Stop button corresponding to the task.

  4. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.

    Important

A task cannot be resumed if it has been stopped for more than 12 hours.

Resume a data synchronization task

You can manually resume a data synchronization task that is in the Stopped or Failed state. After you resume the task, the data transmission service continues to schedule the task and reduces the synchronization latency as soon as possible.

  1. Log on to the

    ApsaraDB for OceanBase console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Transmission > Data Synchronization.

  3. On the Synchronization Tasks page, find the task that you want to resume and click the Resume button corresponding to the task.
