This topic describes how to change the target topic when you configure a data synchronization task.
Scenario
When you create a task to synchronize data from a database to a message queue instance, the data transmission service allows you to change the target topic after you select the topic type for synchronization.
Procedure
Configure a data migration task as prompted to the Select Synchronization Objects step.
For more information, see the topics about data synchronization tasks of the corresponding data source types.
After you select the synchronization objects and mapping method, move the pointer over the object for which you want to change the target topic in the Target Object(s) pane and click Change Topic.
In the Map Object to Topic dialog box, change the topic to which the object is synchronized.
NoteWhen you synchronize data from an OceanBase database to a RocketMQ instance, only the Existing Topics mapping method is supported.
When you synchronize data from an OceanBase database to a Kafka or DataHub instance, if you do not select Schema Synchronization when you specify the synchronization type, you can select only Existing Topics. If you have selected Schema Synchronization when you specify the synchronization type, you can select only one mapping method to create or select a topic.
Click OK.
Complete subsequent task settings as prompted.
